As Compliance Officer you will be part of the Legal & Compliance team, and you will have full ownership and responsibility for the compliance and AML/KYC controls.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Compliance controls in line with the internal policies.
  • Amend internal policies and procedures when there are changes in legislation or internal developments.
  • Perform AML/KYC due diligence reviews for low/medium/high risk client files in line with the AML/CTF legislation in power, prepare summaries and indicate them in writing to the responsible department.
  • Prepare and support for regulatory reporting to the authorities.
  • Prepare, take minutes and monitor actions for the Business Acceptance Committee.
  • Advise the internal departments on compliance matters and answer any questions.
  • Complete due diligence requests from partners and perform KYP.
  • Support Head of Legal & Compliance with ad hoc projects.
  • Promote a culture of compliance awareness among employees.

  • You have very good knowledge of Luxembourg and EU legal framework.
  • You have experience in identifying and interpreting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Law or a related field .
  • At least 3 years’ of experience in a Compliance role in either an insurance, banking, or asset management environment.
  • Professional certification in compliance, risk or insurance is a plus.
  • Perfect knowledge of English and an additional language (French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, German, Finnish, Swedish ….).
